The Everest Region has several different trekking routes around the Everest region, Gokyo holy lake trekking route is a one of the most famous and beautiful trekking route out of them because of the Gokyo peak with it’s Panoramic views of the Mt Everest,Mt Makalu Lhotse,Pumori and many others mountains. This trek begins at the mountain airstrip at Lukla about 40 minutes flight from Kathmandu. Our destination is the high altitude lakes of Gokyo at over 4750 m. Less frequented than the Everest Base Camp route, the trek provides some tremendous high altitude trekking and a visit to the second largest glacier in the World. after the Gokyo better to be back via very famous Tengboche Gumba.
Day 1 :
Arrival to Kathmandu.
Day 9 :
Gokyo / Dole (4200 m.) 6 hrs.
Day 12 :
Namche / Phakding ( 2610 m.) 5 hrs.
Day 13 :
Phakding to Lukla-(2840 m.) 3,hrs.
Day 15 :
Sightseeing in kathmandu city.
